Linkages with institutions of excellence such as the IITs and IISc Bangalore

Under the quality improvement programme, many of our faculty members have acquired their post-graduate or doctoral degree from IITs or IISc. This interaction is continued by faculties by attending short term training programmes. Faculty of IIT’s and IISc are invited for giving expert lectures.

Linkages Abroad

Sizeable number of our alumni is working abroad. With the help of these students, efforts are being taken to have linkages with foreign technical institutions.

Linkages with R&D Laboratories

Many of our students undertake their final year projects in the research centers like VSSC Trivandum, NPOL Kochi, Keltron, C-DIT Trivandrum, DRDO Bangalore and scientists from these institutions used to visit our college for delivering expert lectures.

Industry Institute Interaction cell (IIIC)

Industry –Institute interaction cell is functioning in this college as a forum of interaction between industries and the college, for mutual benefit. Industry can help the institution by sponsoring R & D activities involving themselves in the curriculum preparation and providing placement to the deserving candidates. The testing and laboratory facilities in the college can be utilized by the industries for their day to day needs. Further, the innovative ideas of the students can be pooled for commercial application. Also it will help the industries to keep abreast with the developments in the field of science, engineering and technology. A committee consisting of representatives from industry and the faculty is monitoring the activities of the cell. It is maintaining close liaison with the district industries and financial institutions.
