The recruitment of faculty is done by Government of Kerala through Kerala Public Service Commission. Promotions of staff are done regularly based on qualification and total service by the Director of Technical Education. AICTE pay scales are followed in all government engineering colleges. Faculties are deputed for higher studies under Quality Improvement Programmes of AICTE. Participation of faculties and technical supporting staff in training programmes in industry and prestigious institutions is always encouraged. Research among faculty is encouraged by sending them to participate in national and international conferences, workshops, symposiums etc. Short-term training programs are organised regularly by the college in which faculties from within and outside the institute participate. The College provides support to the faculty and staff for taking up consultancy projects. Future plans include organizing more short-term training and induction programmes, conferences, and workshops within the campus. |
